one of my favorite baby devices
People caring for 8 month old babies…here’s one of my favorite feeding devices, the munchkin feeder. I just put some avocado in there, set Florence in her chair and I’ve got 10 minutes to eat my lunch.

Hi Becky,
This is a bit unusual but I stumbled upon your blog while searching for “baby devices” for an engineering entrepreneurship class I’m taking at Penn this semester. My team is conducting a market potential assessment of a neonatal feeding device. The device looks like a regular baby bottle however it can quantify and assess neonate feeding behavior based on sucking and breathing parameters to make a well reasoned decision as to whether a baby is ready to leave the hospital. Please take the following 5 minute survey in addition to the 2 questions that follow if possible:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=YtSDkhqnPeTRiCAzrw6RDA_3d_3d
1) Would you prefer a device that only assesses neonate feeding behavior or would a device that trains your baby to feed by generating pulses to the baby’s lips be of greater value?
2) How much would you be willing to pay for such a product? If it were covered by insurance?
Your responses are of great value to our project and if you can please forward this to you friends as well it would be much appreciated. Thank you very much for your time and take care! (p.s. your baby is simply precious.)
